Another Entertainer 'Dies Suddenly'
"The stage is dark today with the all too soon passing of one of music’s brightest lights."
If you are a fan of alt-rock/country band The Sadies, and you haven’t heard the news, please have a seat before reading further.
Sadly, Dallas Good - singer, guitarist, and co-founder of The Sadies - “died suddenly” last Thursday at the age of 48.
According to a report on the USA TODAY website, the Canadian musician ‘suddenly’ passed away from “natural causes while under doctor’s care for a coronary illness discovered earlier this week.”
That’s all the details we know.
This sounds to me like is a couple of things…
Not sure how the press release from Yep Roc Records reads “natural causes” and mentions a recently discovered “coronary illness” in the same sentence and makes sense? We read Good got diagnosed with some heart ailment “earlier this week.” He was only 48 years old - so how did he die from “natural causes”? What was the coronary illness? Myocarditis? Or one of the other known side effects of the mRNA vaccine on the heart? We may never know.
This news closely resembles many other recent deaths in the entertainment world.
You have to wonder why so many entertainers have been unexpectedly dying in the past twelve to fifteen months. When the celebrity is almost 100 years old, nobody bats an eye. Or when they are an aging rocker, overweight, and railing against vaccine mandates and lockdowns, the press is quick to come to the usual clear-cut conclusions, even when their vaccine status is unclear.
But when you’re a famous comedian found dead in your motel room from what looks like a head injury from a fall - you have to wonder what made him fall, to begin with?
And since then - two relatively young female comics fell unexpectedly and suffered head injuries. One of the funny ladies knew the comedian who died, and his story is what prompted her to get her head checked out.
The second recent incident got a lot of attention because she was on stage making jokes about her vaccine status (“Double vaxxed. Booster. Flu shot. And I have the shingle shot, too,”) when she collapsed on stage and was knocked out cold.
Of course, this is all coincidence, right?
There are too many headlines reading “dies suddenly” these days - and they’re not all celebrities. Most of these stories are about ordinary people who were young and healthy and unexpectedly died. Like this one. Or this one. Or this Northern Ireland politician. Or this 36-year-old police officer. Or this ‘perfectly healthy’ 20-year-old Londoner.
Too many others could be listed here. But I’ll stop for now. You can use a search engine like Duck Duck Go or Google News, type in “dies suddenly” or “died unexpectedly,” and you will see for yourself how many of these cases are occurring in just the past year or so.
You will notice that there are few details on what caused the death. Occasionally, you can find evidence that the person received an mRNA jab - typically a recent one - sometime in the previous two weeks to three months. Occasionally longer.
I wasn’t familiar with The Sadies music, so I pulled up the Sadies Essentials album, and I’ve been listening to it while writing this post. I would describe their sound as a caffeinated Cowboy Junkies.
I’ll close this one out with a 7-minute video that gives you a taste of their talent and provides a glimpse into Dallas and his bandmates.
Rest in peace, Dallas.
