Asian Reporter Collapses Live on Air - Here's the Video
She and a colleague reporting from the U.N. Climate summit were about to begin when she suddenly fell to the floor, leaving her colleague stunned.
Channel News Asia reporter Julie Yoo was standing and smiling, prepared to do her job, but shocked everyone by fainting before she could begin. The news anchors and producers back at home base show little empathy—and you can hear a producer screaming in the ear of the news anchor, telling her to move on to the next story.
From USSA News: Following her startling collapse, CNA parent company Mediacorp quickly released a statement claiming Yoo was fine and just dehydrated.
“She was feeling a little unwell due to dehydration and low blood sugar,” Mediacorp stated according to CNA.
“She will be resting tonight and will be back on air tomorrow. We would like to thank everyone for their concern.”
I’ve been on the internet regularly since 1998 - and I’ve never seen so many examples of people passing out on camera.
Something is definitely going on.
