Democrat, Republican, and Independent Parents Who Vote are Unifying and It's Making Elites Nervous
Something shocking happened when CBS News brought three parents together to discuss which issues are important to them as typical, stressed-out moms and dads wanting the best for their kids.
The media matrix narrative isn’t working well as the U.S. barrels towards the midterm election — only two weeks away.
The corporate, “legacy news” outlets want you to think that abortion and the environment are American’s top priorities when it comes to what you want your federal, state, and local governments to focus on.
Nothing could be further from the truth based on this panel discussion.
The official narrative is crumbling so rapidly that CBS News couldn’t contain a recent hand-picked parent focus group. On Face the Nation, the Eye on America segment looked at “pressured parents,” - voters who are feeling stress over finances and kids post pandemic.
During the 8-minute segment — the three parents—one Democrat, one Republican, and one Independent (all stereotypes that fit the official narrative, of course) — the trio surprisingly formed a consensus as to which issues are important.
When asked, here are the concerns on the minds of this diverse voter panel:
Crime
The Economy
The Southern Border
Inflation
Raising kids in the “woke culture”
The state of public schools
Too much sex education too soon
Parents lack of influence in public education
Issues 5 thru 8 ties together. The panel of three seemed to agree that the public schools are out of control.
When Margaret Brennan asks the Democrat voter from Chicago who she blames for these problems, she replied: “It’s everybody - Washington, the Mayor - it’s like, they help who they want to help — certain groups of people — they will help them but then neglect someone else.”
Towards the end of the segment, the host said this:
“Often when we do these focus groups, we have people from different party affiliations disagreeing with each other. But I’m hearing all of you echo a lot of the same concerns and agreeing with each other. None of you are very optimistic about the country right now.” — Margaret Brennan, CBS News Anchor
