Ever since North Carolina GOP Representative Madison Cawthorn revealed his shocking experiences so far while serving his first year in public office- orgy invitations, cocaine usage, bullying to conform - the media matrix kicked into gear and is now working hard to completely discredit Cawthorn and make sure he doesn’t win re-election.
Isn’t it amazing how all of a sudden Cawthorn is having so many problems?
Today, he was cited by TSA agents at the Charlotte Douglas International airport for allegedly carrying a firearm in his travel bag.
The poor guy is probably feeling unsafe at this point!
Just the News reports: “The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said the congressman "stated that the firearm was his and he was cooperative with the CMPD officers."
Cawthorn received a "Possession of a Dangerous Weapon on City Property" citation, which is a misdemeanor and a Charlotte city ordinance.
The representative was released from custody and, following standard procedure, the department took possession of the gun.
Cawthorn has not made a public statement as of publication.”
Just last week, a former campaign staffer of Cawthorn’s filed a lawsuit claiming a long list of offenses against the 26-year-old House Rep. including sexual assault, lying - even cruelty to animals.
