Love is blind and blood is thicker than water, wrote medieval scribes.
Could Dr. Jill Biden be blinded by love toward her son Hunter Biden. Perhaps love is why Dr. Jill believes Hunter is completely innocent of all crimes?
“Everybody and their brother has investigated Hunter. They keep at it, and at it, and at it. I know that Hunter is innocent.” — Stepmom Jill Biden in an interview a year ago. (source)
Or maybe the “blood is thicker than water” proverb is kicking in, unleashing her inner momma bear to come running to her (grown) child’s defense?
For a year now, Hunter’s federal investigation continues to focus on tax crimes and lying on a federal form to purchase a gun. These charges don’t sound overly complicated and might make one wonder what the holdup is all about.
Meanwhile, Hunter should be praying for the Democrats to keep control of Congress, or else his foreign business deals will be scrutinized by the Republicans with public hearings.
Don’t expect Hunter to be arrested before November 8 - for obvious reasons.

The Latest on Hunter’s Tax Probe
Two weeks ago, the Washington Post reported that “federal agents believe they have enough evidence to charge Hunter Biden with tax crimes and a false statement regarding a gun purchase.” But now we are waiting on the U.S. attorney in Delaware to decide if charges should be filed, writes the Post.
From The Washington Post: Agents determined months ago they had assembled a viable criminal case against the younger Biden. But it is ultimately up to prosecutors at the Justice Department, not agents, to decide whether to file charges in cases where prosecutors believe the evidence is strong enough to lead to a likely conviction at trial.
Given the intense political interest in a criminal probe involving the son of a sitting president, Attorney General Merrick Garland has made clear that the U.S. Attorney in Delaware, David C. Weiss, who was nominated by Trump in late 2017, is supervising the case.
Garland has vowed there will be no political or otherwise improper interference in the Hunter Biden case and has not moved to push Weiss to make a decision, the people familiar with the matter said. It is not uncommon for Justice Department investigations to take years to finish. Justice Department policy would require any criminal tax charges to be approved by the department’s tax division.
The case could take a conveniently long time if the Democrats remain in power for the next six years.
However, a Congressional takeover by the GOP in the upcoming election could bring much bigger troubles for Hunter Biden.
~ Senator Grassley Keeps the Heat On
When asked if the GOP will hold hearings on Hunter Biden’s business deals if Republicans take back Congress, Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa said: “We will have hearings if we have to have hearings. But we do the best investigation that we can short of hearings. But if we don’t get answers, obviously, that’s the way to really make things public and put people on the spot. And that’s what we’ll do if we have to do that.”
A Lack of Curiosity
The tightly controlled “legacy” media matrix took their sweet time to report on Hunter Biden’s laptop from hell - 18 months to be exact. NewNation’s Dan Abrams reminds us of the media’s failure to cover the Hunter Biden case from before the election till now.
Only 17 days till the midterm election.
