JJ Watt 's "Shocking" Story - From a Serious Heart Issue to Playing for the Cardinals - All in 3 Days
Was Watt "fully vaccinated"? Is he another professional athlete experiencing covid inoculation side effects?
This morning, my wife asked me if I had heard about JJ Watt?
No, I had not. Because very little is being reported about this story. No one is spending time on it.
In case you don’t know - JJ Watt is one of the best known, most talented players in the National Football League. He’s a defensive tackle who played for the Houston Texans for many years before signing with the Arizona Cardinals as a free agent. Watt is a Pro-Bowl caliber player, considered an NFL super star, and is married to a professional soccer player.
Watt is 33 years old.
What is so “shocking” about this story is Watt’s scary heart issue last week that required him to receive an electric shock to his heart to save his life. He then proceeded to play last Sunday (three days later.)
This evening, Alex Berenson tweeted:
According to Watt, the news about his health leaked out. Right away, he addressed the situation with the media to “get ahead of the news.”
“I went into A-Fib on Wednesday, had my heart shocked back into rhythm on Thursday and I’m playing today. That’s it.” — JJ Watt, NFL Football Player
After the Arizona Cardinals win over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, Watt opened up about playing just three days after having his heart shocked back into rhythm:
I know what you’re thinking: do we know if JJ Watt received the Covid shot?
Although no conclusive evidence could be found on Watt’s vaccination status — this 2021 tweet from a Phoenix news reporter indicated that Watt was vocal about getting Covid inoculation information to his teammates. (CDC approved, I’m sure.) This was when the Cardinals were getting criticized for being a team with one of the lowest numbers of fully vaccinated players.
I found this but cannot verify if Watt did say these words:
You can find many blogs and commentators who say JJ Watt is fully vaccinated - but finding conclusive evidence is challenging.
Forbes writes that JJ Watt is “on a 100% vaccinated team according to head coaches and teammates,” which also supports the likelihood that Watt is indeed fully vaccinated with the covid shot(s).
Let’s just say with a certain level of confidence that there is a strong likelihood that Watt has received at least two Covid shots to be considered “full vaccinated” by his employer (AZ Cardinals), and therefore in good standing with the NFL.
The fact that so many professional athletes - 1354 athlete cardiac arrests or serious issues with 922 deaths - have already died or came down with heart issues these past 18 months also makes Watt’s story more likely to be connected to the covid inoculation.
Remember when we almost NEVER heard any news reports of a professional athlete coming down with heart issues? Those were the good old days of 2019.
Sadly, Watt’s story will not be the last time someone leaks a U.S. professional athlete’s freaky, unusual health problem. And that player most likely will have taken at least one mRNA injection.
There are a small handful of NFL players who are open about not following the c-shot narrative. In the NBA, Kyrie Irving is, as well, for one. I suspect many pro athletes know what’s up, did not get the shots & managed to find work-arounds. Thanks for sharing this, Matthieu. I follow the NFL a bit & became glued to JJ Watts’ story as it came out!
