Substack Trolls Twitter
Substack's VP of Communications drops a couple of tweets that make free speech fans fist-pump . Meanwhile, woke Twitter employees freak out at what Musk is doing to their safe space.
In case you haven’t heard, Elon Musk recently bought enough Twitter stock to give himself a 9% majority of shares and the Tesla Founder is being appointed to Twitter’s board of directors.
This has been what everyone on social media is talking about today (Wednesday.)
The Left is unhappy with the news, while those who want more freedom of speech and less bias on Twitter are ecstatic:
Many conservatives are excited about the possibilities with Musk in control of Twitter. The memes are flying and they reflect a desire to change Founder Jack Dorsey’s microblogging social site back to its original intent as an open platform for divergent views. Most agree that Twitter devolved over the years into a biased progressive bully pit, an enemy of free speech, and a hate-filled mosh pit that seeks to cancel and destroy people who have different views and ideas contrary to the “approved Party narrative.” (We know which Party that would be. ;)
Right-of-Center Twitter users are already feeling liberated and their memes reflect their elation:
Yesterday, Lulu Cheng Meservey, whose Twitter bio says she is “VP Comms @Substack” dropped a couple of tweets hilariously trolling the Twitter employees who are declaring they are leaving the company.
How, ironic, though that every other content-media start up / young growth company based out of San Francisco has pretty much fallen into the hands of "woke" ideology (i.e, collectivism, groupthink, no critical thinking skills needed, etc).
But, nope, so far..the little choo choo train who could -- substack -- says, "nope, despite our close proximity to thooooooose people, we shall fight honorably and handsomely, like the Sons of Liberty, to defend our independence. "
Boom 💥👏
I hope this news is as good as it seems it could be. And I think I love Lulu
