Happy New Year, Private Eye!

How’s your 2023 been? I have mixed feelings when I reflect back on the past twelve months.

Personally, last year went along well for the first eight months. But then September is when things started happening—like my mom’s broken leg. And that financial hit I alluded to which surprised me in early November.

My newsletter gained momentum last summer—June through August brought in many new subscribers, which was exciting. But since pumpkin spice season started, I’ve been dealing with some personal matters behind the scenes that lowered my publishing frequency.

I’m confident that 2024 will provide a rebound with News Detectives. I’m grateful for the newbies who have joined us. This next year is going to be fun.

I hope you will clean the lens of your magnifying glass and help me solve crimes of disinformation™ in 2024.
