LETTER FROM THE EDITOR
Here we are in between Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
Yesterday, my friend and fellow ‘Stacker Mickey Z. asked this question: What’s good about Good Friday? Because that’s when the Son of God was horrendously beaten and killed—so how can we call that day good?
To answer that question, I really like this part from Mickey’s article. He writes, “I appreciate the line of thinking I first heard from Father Nathan Castle. How utterly optimistic and audacious to call it Good Friday!
“I think it takes all the nerve in the world,” states Fr. Nathan, “to trust that good is always happening even in the presence of what looks awful.”
On this “pregnant pause Saturday,” the day before “resurrection Sunday”, my goal is to spread hope with today’s red pills. The mission of News Detectives is to empower readers with truth—these story links are not black pills meant to make you feel discouraged and hopeless. They are red pills meant to make you feel informed, awake, and motivated to do whatever it is you need to do to keep your family, community, and country a free and prosperous place—to equip subscribers with knowledge so they can avoid tyranny—all versions of tyranny which sprout and thrive in apathetic, disinformed populaces.
If you want to fight back against the dark forces this weekend—after reading some red pills, I encourage you to read the Gospel of John, Chapters 16-21.
May your weekend be a blessing,
Matthieu

MEMES
A classic meme that’s been around for a while. Still relevant—there are many who continue to live like these two knuckleheads.
