What do the two best players in Major League Baseball have in common?
Coincidence or something else?
A few weeks ago, I came across the article above on the MLB app, and something jumped out at me.
There are two players in professional baseball - the New York Yankee’s Aaron Judge and the St. Louis Cardinals Paul Goldschmidt - clearly outperforming their peers in 2022.
Judge is the favorite right now to win American League MVP, and Goldschmidt looks like he will be the National League MVP.
This is nothing new. Every year, MLB anoints a player from each league with the Most Valuable Player award.
But I noticed something interesting about the top two players in the 2022 baseball season.
They have something in common - and I’m not talking about the fact that both players bat right-handed.
Where this gets interesting is the realization that both Judge and Goldschmidt are “unvaccinated.”
In other words, they have stayed away from the mRNA experimental Covid inoculation - despite the peer pressure or employer threats thrown at them.
I’m sure they’ve experienced a few busy bodies along the way trying to guilt them into rolling up their sleeve.
Aaron Judge even lives and plays in New York City! But that doesn’t matter when you’re a millionaire superstar - New York changed their vaccine mandate, allowing unvaccinated Yankees and Mets players to play in home games.
But I just find this intriguing: the two best baseball players in 2022 have not taken one single Covid shot.
Coincidence? Or is something physical going on?
I tip my cap to them for not bowing to the pressure they must have been under to comply.
MVP = Most Valuable Protestors!
