Wiggly Words
The Deep Woke are trying to turn words like "recession" into jello. But facts are solid things.
One sign that we live in crazy times (resembling Orwell’s novel 1984) is the fluidity of language.
I don’t know how prevalent this creepy phenomenon is in other countries - but the U.S. is at a point where the foundations of the English language are as stable as jello.
Words like woman, recession, trans, riot, inflation, love - these and other words are being redefined at a dizzying pace.
One of the reasons why this newsletter was started is to get people off the msm crazy train by providing readers a place where you can plant your feet on solid news ground. This newsletter is for news readers like you who want to think critically and not swallow whatever jello casserole the corrupt media outlets are spoon-feeding daily.
The latest word the wokesters want to tear down like a U.S. monument is the term “recession.” The Biden administration is trying hard to redefine the word recession - conveniently at a time when the U.S. economy fell into a recession while being governed by Biden and the Democratic Party in Congress.
Not surprisingly, a large percentage of the woke corporate media is happy to help Biden redefine what a recession is and spread doubt and confusion amongst the American people.
Even the news junkies who aren’t particularly educated in economics know that a recession has been defined as two consecutive quarters of declining GDP growth.
That’s exactly what’s occurred the past two quarters.
Yet Biden’s Press Secretary is still out there doing verbal gymnastics, trying to articulate around the reality of recession.

Meanwhile, one of America’s top economists - a former Obama administration official - is warning that the economy is in much worse shape than people realize.
From the Epoch Times: “Mohamed A. El-Erian, a former Obama administration official and the president of Queens’ College at the University of Cambridge, said the numbers show it’s “an economy that’s weakening at a much faster rate than most people expected.”
“Inflation is not going to come down fast enough given how fast the economy is weakening and that’s going to put the Fed in the same dilemma it been in,” El-Erian told CNBC on Thursday morning. He added on Twitter that with an “unfavorable miss on jobless claims” combined with the negative GDP, there is a risk of “deepening stagflation and flashing red recession.”
Trying to convince the average American that the economy is strong is a tough job. We all go grocery shopping, fill up our gas tanks, and pay our utility bills. Everyone is quite aware of the inflation aspect.
People are not stupid.
According to The Republic Brief: “American households will spend $5,915 more on everyday items this year than they did in 2021. Inflation is at a 40-year high, and gas prices at the pump are stinging.
In the latest report on U.S. government prices, Moody’s Analytics economist Mark Zandi said that households are spending nearly $493 more each month than they did a year ago.
According to him, this is a ‘big deal for a household making about $60,000 per year’. In the United States, the median household income is $67,521.”
Since inflation hit 9.1 percent in August – the highest rate since 1980 – many Americans have had to cut back on basic foods like butter and beef in order to feed their families.
A 0.75 percent rise in the federal funds rate on Wednesday came in response to high inflation, slowing the economy and making it more difficult to pay off mortgages, credit cards, and other debts.
Bill Clinton back in the 90s as President used the famous campaign slogan “It’s the economy, stupid.” Almost thirty years later, Democrats appear completely out-of-touch with the struggles of working men and women trying to raise children and make a better life for themselves.
America’s current leadership appears to be taking a “recess” on working for the taxpayers. They turned “recession” into “recess” and are too preoccupied playing kickball with foreign lobbyists.
They change definitions to suit their agenda and to get the focus off of them doing anything wrong. Dying to know if Wisconsin state Senate Minority Leader Janet Bewley, will ha e any charges against them. We saw Pelosi's husband get out of DUI charges a couple of months ago. Her mistake cost lives, but not sure if she will pay for any of it.
