That is part of the problem in todays' world. The "people" will jump all over you and continue to bash you for making a mistake, which fosters an environment that makes it hard to admit when you make a mistake. Therefore, those who make mistakes will not admit it to themselves much less to the public. Everyone makes mistakes, we are all human, nobody is perfect. But there are those that can't admit it and those who will NOT let others admit and move on.
