First, regarding Swedish Fish, I like them and am quite pleased to know they aren’t going away any time soon.
As far as Spotify goes, to be honest, I’m not a consumer of their platform (hope that doesn’t make me a bad person), but, due to the whole cancel culture malaise we’re presently going through, I did take note of the whole Rogan commotion... curious to see where it would go.
Matthew, the measured, balanced approach you took in your article, poking around behind the scenes and providing context, offered a much better perspective on Spotify, its creators, and how this all might play out... which remains to be seen.
Your article stealthily navigates and shed light on the middle ground mostly ignored by the media and celebrity personalities touting their bias and clamoring for attention. Keep up the good detective work.
That's what News Detectives do. :) Sure, I have strong opinions at times, but good, old fashioned journalism is still relevant and important. Too bad so many "news" disseminators have strayed from real investigations. This wasn't a super deep investigation, but I'll continue to look closer at Spotify and share what I find.
Great article. Very interesting how Spotify came to be and will continue to be interesting to see where it goes.
Glad you liked this one! Based on feedback, I should do more posts like this one. Which I will be doing, so be on the lookout.
Fantastic well written article!
Appreciate the feedback! Thanks!
