Is this a stargate? A portal? A wormhole?

A mystery for you on a Weird Wednesday

A few days ago, I came across a weird video on Telegram.

What I’m sharing tonight is not “news” per se—this story apparently came out three years ago. It looks like the Science channel produced the video segment.

The video caught my attention—mainly because the mystery is still unsolved.

What am I teasing here?

There is a tunnel—manmade—in the country of Columbia.

And deep inside this tunnel there is an area that is rhythmically pulsating some sort of fog. You also hear a loud roar each time this thing pulsates.

Needless to say, it’s a scary sight for those down in the tunnel.

People are speculating online about what’s going on here, but nobody has nailed down the answer to what’s happening.

A physicist named Chad Orzell (who is a real physicist—I checked) reviews the footage and comes up with a startling theory: this could be a “wormhole.” The definition of a wormhole is “a hypothetical connection between widely separated regions of space and time.” In the video, a wormhole is described as a “short cut” that could allow someone to travel through space in a much faster amount of time, and is based on the idea of an Einstein-Rosen “bridge” that enables quick and easy traveling across the cosmos.

This theory is what inspired the STARGATE movie franchise.
