Where to protest....good question. I would say it depends on the dragon you are trying to slay. You shared a video from Peggy Hall - she's focusing on her local county board of supervisors. So, I think it requires some strategy and knowing what your priorities are you want to achieve.
I do think you're onto something with working on solutions locally or online with freedom loving groups and individuals.
Americans are so spread out and federalism does provide a sense of fragmentation, which is a good thing in my book. I'm so grateful my state laws are not the same as, say, New York. But freedom lovers from all 50 states do need to work together whenever possible.
