On the article about the Oregon high school requiring kids to write about sexual fantasies, it's part of the Our Whole Lives curriculum, which originated with the Unitarian Universalists in 1999:

I think the original intent was probably benign, but here in 2023 the implications are increasingly nightmarish.
The goalposts on sexuality keep moving. On Wikipedia now it says they support and teach transgenderism.
