I don't know if you caught my last one but I theorized that the sexual allegations against him may have been to pre-empt his voice on this issue, since he was speaking in defense of Palestinians back in 2009. If, as many suspect, this was planned by the PTB with Hamas as the tool, the timing between the two events is close.
