Her Wikipedia says BS and Masters in nursing, and PhD in philosophy from Georgetown. Certainly a solid nursing education, but I suspect her qualification for the NIH job was being Fauci’s wife.

How can you claim to be a bioethicist and not advocate for informed consent? And how does an attorney get to be a bioethicist without earning a bachelor's degree in biology?
Fauci’s wife is a bioethicist also. Chairman of the bioethics department at NIH. Or was; with her husband retiring she may now be retired or in the process.
