Hollywood Interrupted
A tribute to a true journalist who died for the cause of truth before we dive into one of his favorite topics: celebrity news.
Andrew Breitbart is one of my journalistic heroes.
Most people continue to associate him with right-wing politics. But politics was not Andrew’s only passion.
Andrew also targeted Hollywood and the entertainment industry in his muckraking adventures.
He loved to skewer arrogant celebrities and expose Hollywood hypocrisy.
Still sitting on one of my bookshelves is Breitbart’s Hollywood Interrupted, Insanity Chic in Babylon—the Case Against Celebrity.
God rest his soul—may his memory be a blessing—Andrew’s work inspires me still today.
For the new subscribers, or ICYMI, here’s a batch of News Detectives posts focused on celebrities and entertainment. (Also—my Weekend Red Pills always include the latest entertainment stories not found in conventional media.)
Let’s start with the very first News Detectives Post:
